Arrived late yesterday. Took forever on the bus form the air port. We were pretty knackered by then but went out for a quick bite at praha bar in itaewon near where we are staying.
Had a super early night.
Had THE best coffee at de chocolate coffee. One thing i've noticed is how lovely and helpful the Koreans are. They honestly are so polite and friendly. And patient with us foreigners who only know one word of Korean. Gamsa Hamnida (thank you).
After our refreshing cuppa coffee we headed of to Itaewon station to catch the subway to Chungmoro to visit the Hanok Historic village. Its a gorgeous place. It has old houses that they moved from other areas to this one place for historical and preserving purposes. Its pretty awesome.
We found a restaurant that was near by. Pretty western food but with a Korean twist. The Koreans LOVE their meat and seafood but there are vegetarian places around apparently. We are going to try and find a proper Korean vegan restaurant tomorrow.
It rained on and off all day but its SO humid its crazy hot. We had three showers already - sweaty betties!!
After lunch we made an attempt to go to N Seoul Tower but the weather was shite so we forgot that idea as we wouldn't get the view we would hope for.
This evening we went to Platinum brewery. Had all you can drink for 35 won. Pretty good!!
Tomorrow we are meeting Juno and seeing some palaces which im really looking forward to. Anyway we headed back to the hotel where I am writing this on the free wifi ;-)
Then Paul got a swollen eye for some reason....
