What in the weird?? The case of the missing jewellery

My friend said to me yesterday "missing jewellery always seems to find a way back to the owner". I got goose bumps when she said that. On the weekend my husband lost his wedding ring. He was pretty distraught (as was I). On the night and the next day that it was lost, i prayed for a miracle that it would just turn up. That I would see it in on the ground or it would just turn up in front of me. It didnt. Not that day anyway.
Yesterday Paul (my husband) got a call from the reception place where the ring went missing, they found it!! in a filter! Im taking it as a miracle. I don't mind if no one else sees it that way.

But what my friend said about jewellery made me think. I have read stories about people randomly finding jewellery they lost years before. And have any of you read the stories about pennies from heaven? Apparently theres a phenomena that pennies will just randomly turn up in weird places. Some people believe they are from deceased loved ones. Here's one story http://paranormal.about.com/library/blstory_august01_24.htm and another http://www.ghostvillage.com/encounters/2004/02132004.shtml

But back to missing jewellery. He's a story for you http://www.themercury.com.au/article/2008/01/03/17298_tasmania-news.html and another http://www.gold.org/news/2009/03/10/story/11557/missing_gold_ring_found_after_20_years

My work colleagues friend once lost a $5,000 necklace, she looked everywhere for it but couldn't find it. She wasn't too worried even though it was so expensive. After a few months, she decided to write into one of those magazine sections that has a psychic. She asked where her missing necklace was. Apparently the psychic gave a description of where this necklace was and guess what? the necklace was EXACTLY where the Psychic said it would be. How weird?

Have you had any instances where lost jewellery has seemingly miraculously turned up?
